Curve CRV News - Curve Finance has introduced a transformative proposal to convert its CRV token into a yield-generating asset. The Yield Basis initiative will allocate 35%-65% of protocol revenue directly to veCRV holders, shifting from inflationary rewards to sustainable income generation. Additionally, the protocol plans to mint $60 million in crvUSD to establish Bitcoin-focused liquidity pools, enhancing Curve's DeFi positioning while attracting institutional capital seeking predictable returns. Governance voting on this proposal concludes on September 24.
